D&R Canal at Trenton – Hamilton Marsh

D&R Canal, Bordentown, NJ (bald eagle's nest in distance) (11/11/13)

This photo was shot with my cell phone – surprised by the reasonable quality.

I was out for our daily walk with Bouy (my dog) and was just overwhelmed by the colors as the sun settled low in a sky of swirling thin clouds.

Looking northeast with the sun at my back, the light was just perfect and the colors looked so muted pastel, that it almost seemed fake.

Obviously, no camera could reproduce what I saw and experienced at this moment, but I thought I’d try and grab it anyway.
