School funds must be linked to reforms
Apparently, building schools for urban, disadvantaged, and mostly black kids on toxics sites without the knowledge or consent of parents is not considered fraud or mismanagement or a scandal or immoral.
Could there be a larger environmental justice issue?
What’s up with that? (paraphrasing an infamous historical figure who inquired: “What is Truth?”)

Bill keep the heat up on these guys they deserve every BTU! There’s an old adage that says “if it’s important get it in writing.”This is a classic example of where the Guv and the SDA and the Legislature need to provide in writing a certification to abide by the rules laid out in your blog. It is unconscionable that we spend billions on poor kids so poorly. Do something like that in say Essex Fells or Tenafly or Summit and there would be hell to pay. But Newark/AP who really cares. N more dough until you sign the certifications!
Duh-moc-rats are the judges, jury, prosecutors, victims and the assailants, in this state. It is a mockery of the political, and judicial system of how it works or rather fails to work.
I have started to get a feel that the demise of this state is near. I hope a new birth will be a good start.
What ever happened to the 6.7 billion dollars in the last school building fund that disappeared? no investigations – no criminal charges – no nothing – it must have fallen into a bottomless pit!
