The NJ Transit Riverline & the D&R Canal State Park walkway cross Crosswicks Creek. The confluence with the Delaware River is a few hundred yards to the SW.  Just downriver, Blacks Creek enters the river, at a Bordentown park – this area is known as Point Breeze, a place with a lot of history.

Just about 1 mile north of this point on the D&R Canal path, you can see a pair of nesting bald eagles. Kayakers can enter the Hamilton marsh here. You can bike or hike the canal path to Trenton (slight detours required on Duck Island, but they are not difficult to navigate.)

The Bordentown Yatch Club is in lower left. The Riverline station is about 1/4 mile south.

[Below] – Hilltop Park – a lovely place to take a stroll. The Tom Paine statue and historic downtown Bordentown are a few blocks east. Good day trip.
