    Thanks – Not there now, took these shots this summer. A couple of the shots are from summer of 2007 – you can see the difference because poor air quality resulted from record widespread forest fires in the Rockies that year (07).

    Wolfe – great pics that bring back many memories – as a teen growing up in Minneapolis, my family vacationed many summers in Glacier in our “pop-up” tent trailer. This makes me want to dig out my old 35mm slides and scan some in for comparison, as there is FAR less snow/ice in these pictures than in the mid-70’s. I have boxes of Two Medicine Lake and Going to the Sun Highway pics that I now MUST find! Thanks!

    Thanks Scott – yes the glaciers are melting! Lots of research going on at glacier documenting that. Forests didn’t look healthy too.
